About Us

Dr. Alisa Sattler holds advanced degrees in organizational leadership, adult and continuing education and hospitality management.

Throughout her career, Alisa has developed organizational systems and educational programs for colleges & universities, traditional and benefit corporations, and health and well-being based personal and professional development programs.

She has over 25 years of culinary and hospitality experience as a chef and hospitality educator. Ms. Sattler served as the associate dean of culinary, hospitality, and baking and pastry management programs of ILIA in Chicago. In this role, she oversaw the educational systems of five culinary and hospitality degree programs.

She has worked as a systems and operations business consultant with numerous entrepreneurial business owners. Additionally, she has established several personal development programs on mastering emotional intelligence skills to support dynamic individuals and their teams in upgrading their communication skills.

For the last eight years, Alisa has focused on working with individual clients globally, as a high-performance coach, to support her clients in enhancing their optimal personal and professional performance. She lives in Chicago with her husband Scott.

Jeffrey Smith holds advanced certifications in executive and personal development coaching. After selling Woodworth Financial, a private family wealth management firm, in 2016, he started coaching full time.

He began coaching family business owners and was a national speaker on succession planning and legacy building. Mr. Smith was a co-host of Family Business Nation, on WJR Radio, News, Talk and Sports, 760AM in Detroit. Mr. Smith has trained and is certified with the best-in-class coaches including Jack Canfield, John Maxwell, Tony Robbins/Cloe Madanes, Institute of Functional Medicine and more.

Mr. Smith was part of the inaugural class of Conversational Intelligence Coaching created by Judith Glasser and WBECS Coaching. C-IQ uses a neuroscientific framework and Emotional Intelligence to leverage the full intelligence of individuals and high performance teams. He is a graduate of the CBS Management School and held many executive positions at CBS, Inc. In publishing, Mr. Smith helped start Crain’s New York Business.

He is past President of the American Automobile Centennial Commission (AACC). The AACC was sponsored by the Big 3 and the UAW Partnerships. He also helped his wife Lisa Vallee-Smith launch Airfoil Group in 1999. Jeff and Lisa, along with their children, manage the Smith Family Foundation.
